Frans Grotepass

Frans Grotepass is an experienced Software Designer with a diverse background in various companies since 2005. Currently at Sioux since February 2012, Frans has contributed to a range of projects for multiple customers. Previous roles include software design for the Tecnai line of microscopes at FEI Company, where a migration to Windows 7 was executed, and the development of a new GUI for SPGPrints using JavaFX. At Vialis, Frans managed the configuration tool for roadside systems, while earlier contributions included software support for tunnel systems at Coentunnel Company and interface library construction for PET bottle printers. Prior experience encompasses software development for Tekelec, mBalance, and GATSO, all focused on implementing various software components and systems. Frans holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Stellenbosch.
