Sergio Ammirata, Ph.D.

Sergio Ammirata, Ph.D., has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Sergio is currently serving as the Director at RIST Forum starting from April 2021. In 2007, they joined SipRadius LLC as the Chief Scientist, a position they still hold. From 2007 to 2016, they worked at Phoenix Cable as an IT Consultant. Sergio also worked as an IT Consultant at Spirit Airlines from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Engineering at Wialan Inc. from 2004 to 2009, where they were responsible for developing the company's WiFi technology. Sergio also worked as the Manager of Information Systems at StarConnect LLC from 2005 to 2007. Before that, they held the position of Manager of Systems Architecture at Intercept Payment Solutions from 2001 to 2003, and Manager of Decision Support at Office Depot from 1998 to 2001.

Sergio Ammirata, Ph.D. pursued their education in the field of Physics at The Ohio State University, where they completed their M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from 1992 to 1997.
