Mathew George, Ph.D. is the current Director and Senior Researcher at SIPRI, leading the Arms Transfer Programme. Previously, Mathew held the position of Practice Head for Aerospace, Defense and Security at GlobalData Plc and Research and Analysis Manager at Janes. With extensive experience in research and analysis, Mathew has a background in International/Global Studies with degrees from Jawaharlal Nehru University, University of Madras, and Christ University.
