Greg Rust, CPA has held several roles in their work experience. Starting in 2010, they worked as a GST/HST Auditor at Canada Revenue Agency until April 2011. Following that, they joined Service Inspired Restaurants (SIR Corp.) in September 2011 as a Senior Accountant. Greg then progressed within the company, taking on roles such as Senior Analyst, Manager of Financial Analysis and Decision Support, and currently serves as the Director of Financial Analysis and Decision Support. Greg'stenure at SIR Corp. spans from September 2011 to the present.
Greg Rust, CPA completed their education in a disciplined and methodical manner. Greg began their academic journey at Mohawk College, where they studied Business with a focus on Accounting from 2009 to 2011. This initial foundation propelled him towards further attainment. Subsequently, Greg pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree at Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne from 2012 to 2017, specializing in Business/Commerce, General. Building on this solid educational background, Greg pursued a higher level of professional development by attending CPA Ontario, where they are currently studying to obtain their CPA designation. Greg is expected to complete their CPA certification in the year 2022.
Sir Royalty Income Fund
SIR Royalty Income Fund (the Fund) holds investment in SIR Corp (SIR). The Funds' investment, SIR is engaged in the business of owning and operating full service restaurants in Canada. SIR has concept restaurant brands, including Jack Astor's Bar and Grill and Canyon Creek Chop House, and signature restaurant brands, such as Reds Wine Tavern, Reds Midtown Tavern, Far Niente/FOUR/Petit Four and the Loose Moose Tap & Grill, which are used by SIR under a license agreement with SIR Royalty Limited Partnership (the Partnership). The Fund receives distribution income from its investment in the Partnership and interest income from the SIR Loan. The Fund intends to pay distributions to unitholders on a monthly basis. The Fund indirectly participates in the revenues generated under the License and Royalty Agreement through its Investment in the Partnership. SIR also owns and operates a Duke's Refresher & Bar located in downtown Toronto and one seasonal restaurant, Abbey's Bakehouse.
