Rebecca Currie

Rebecca Currie has a diverse work experience, starting in 2014 as a Key Account Manager at Profile Wine Group. Rebecca then worked as a Sommelier at Pinnacle Hospitality from 2014 to 2017. In 2009, they became a College Professor at George Brown College, where they stayed until 2021. Currently, they are working at Service Inspired Restaurants (SIR Corp.) as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, and in 2023, they advanced to the position of Talent Acquisition Lead.

Rebecca Currie holds a Master's degree in Education with a focus on Administration and Leadership from Brock University. Rebecca also has a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a specialization in Hospitality and Tourism from Toronto Metropolitan University. Additionally, Rebecca has an Associate's degree in Wine Steward/Sommelier from the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers, and an Associate's degree in Hotel/Motel Administration/Management from George Brown College. Rebecca has obtained a Diploma of Education in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor from World TESOL Academy. Rebecca also has a certification as a PI Master from The Predictive Index, which they obtained in 2023.
