Khalid Alsuwailem

Khalid Alsuwailem has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of security operations. Khalid started their career in 2013 as a Security Analyst at Saudi Telecom Company, where they handled security-related trouble tickets, monitored and mitigated DDOS attacks, and worked on Email-Gateway protection.

In 2016, Khalid joined Symantec as a Security Consultant and SOC Team Lead, where they diagnosed, analyzed, and troubleshooted security issues, coordinated with stakeholders, and guided support engineers. Khalid also handled escalated trouble tickets and opened and followed up on TAC cases with vendors.

In 2019, Khalid became a SOC Team Lead at Solutions by STC, where they established SOC analysis functions, developed SOC methodology and structure, and aligned technology to support SOC initiatives.

Khalid then joined TAHAKOM in 2020 as a Security Operations Center Manager, where they oversaw the operations of the security operations center.

Currently, Khalid is with Sirar by STC, holding the position of SOC Manager. Khalid has recently been promoted to the role of Managed Security Operations Center Director.

Khalid Alsuwailem obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from King Saud University between 2008 and 2012. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA, FCNSA from Fortinet, JNCIA and JNCIS-SEC from Juniper, and Security+ from CompTIA.
