Karen Caddick

Karen Caddick has extensive experience in human resources and leadership roles. Karen is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer at SiriusPoint since 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Group HR Director at RSA from May 2019 to July 2022. Karen was also the Group Human Resources Director at Saga Plc from April 2015 to May 2019, where they led the development and implementation of the People Strategy for the company. Karen has also held the position of Group Human Resources Director at Millennium & Copthorne Hotels Plc, Interim Group Human Resources Director at WM Morrisons Plc, and Group Human Resources Director at Punch Taverns Plc and Spirit Pub Company Plc. Karen has contributed to various organizations in non-executive roles such as the Remuneration Committee Chair at HOWDEN JOINERY GROUP PLC and as a Non-Executive Director at the Non Executive Director Papworth Hospital Foundation Trust. Karen has also been actively involved as a Steering Group member of the London Two Percent Club since 2013. Additionally, they worked as an Interim HR Programme Lead at BT Global Services, where they supported the design and implementation of a Global Centre of Excellence for Marketing & Communications.

Karen attended the University of Glasgow from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History with Honors. During the same period, they also completed a Master of Arts (MA) degree in History from the University of Glasgow. In 1989 to 1990, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in History with a focus on American Studies at the University at Albany, SUNY. Prior to these degrees, they studied at the Convent of Mercy High from 1980 to 1987, earning a Master of Arts (MA) degree in A levels.

Additionally, Karen Caddick has obtained certifications in the field of insurance and personnel development. Karen has an ACII certification from the Chartered Insurance Institute and FCIPD certification from the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development.
