Alex Bates, CPA is currently serving as AVP, Investment Accounting and Reporting at SiriusPoint. Prior to this role, Alex worked at companies such as KPMG in Bermuda and Grant Thornton LLP in various positions within the accounting field. With a background in accounting and finance, Alex has a strong track record of managing diverse investment portfolios and providing audit and assurance services to clients in multiple industries. Alex also has experience in customer service and working with diabetic youth as a summer camp counselor. Alex holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Music from Mount Allison University, as well as a CPA designation from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.
