Carolina Åberg

Carolina Åberg has extensive experience in human resources, holding various leadership roles in multinational companies. Carolina is currently serving as the HR Director for SiriusPoint International, overseeing HR operations in multiple countries. Prior to this, they worked as the Human Resources Director for the Uppsala Monitoring Centre and served as the Interim Human Resources Director for Nordax Bank AB. Carolina has also worked as the Human Resources Manager for Nordstjernan and as the Interim Head of HR for Sweden for UNHCR, where they focused on strategic and operational HR initiatives. Carolina has served as an HR consultant for Notrex AB and as the Interim HR Manager for Euroclear Sweden, leading strategic and operational HR efforts. Additionally, Carolina has a strong background in the financial industry, having worked for Nordea in various HR leadership roles such as Head of HR Sweden, Sustainable Finance Leader, HR Director for Nordea Asset Management, and Head of HR Processes. Before that, they gained experience as a Consultant and Head Hunter for Lookomotion AB and as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, and Head of Posthögskolan for Svenska Posten AB. Carolina Åberg pursued their education at Stockholm University from 1984 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Behavior & Pedagogy. Carolina then continued their studies at the Stockholm School of Economics from 1991 to 1992, focusing on Business and Marketing through an Executive Education program.
