Aileen Canning

Aileen Canning has a number of years of experience in various roles in the telecommunications industry. Starting in 1994, they worked at eircom as a Project Manager, focusing on winback and defense programs and the design and implementation of value-added products. From 2000 to 2005, they worked at ComReg as a Regulatory Affairs Manager, where they played a key role in implementing wholesale access and negotiating agreements with eircom. Following that, they worked at An Post as a Regulatory Manager, responsible for interacting with the regulator and developing a liberalization platform. Since 2013, they have been working at AMTC Consulting Services as a Principal, providing consultancy to various companies and government departments on a range of issues, including oil regulation, telecoms planning, and revenue issues. Most recently, they joined SIRO in 2016 as a Project Manager.

Aileen Canning obtained a Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) degree with a specialization in Public Policy from Dublin City University in the years 1990 to 1994. Aileen then pursued further education at ILM/DCU from 2009 to 2011, where they completed a Graduate Diploma in Strategic Leadership and Business Studies.
