From 2000 to 2003, they pursued coursework in Horn Performance at The University of Southern Mississippi. In 2011, they obtained a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina. Then, from 2016 to 2020, they achieved a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Leadership Studies from the University of Lynchburg.

In terms of private instruction, Katie Glaeser received training in horn performance from various instructors. Katie received private instruction from David Pyatt in 2011, Robert Pruzin at USC from 2010 to 2011, Dennis Behm at USM from 2000 to 2003, Michelle Exley-Johnson from 1998 to 2000, Rebecca Dodson-Webster in 1997, and Kristen Oden in 1997 to 1998.
