Shachar Harussi

Shachar Harussi is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in artificial intelligence, distributed systems, and software engineering. Currently serving as the AI/ML Team Lead at Sisense since August 2018, Shachar has successfully spearheaded the development of an advanced chatbot utilizing Large Language Models and other innovative techniques to improve data modeling and natural language queries. Previous roles include Development Team Lead and Technical Lead at Sisense, as well as Senior Distributed Systems Engineer at Paxata where optimization of pipeline operations was a core focus. Shachar was a founding Chief Architect at ScaleDB, contributing to the creation of a distributed MPP storage engine for big data solutions. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University, complemented by several other degrees in the same field, showcasing a strong foundation in technology and research.
