Siskin Children's Institute
Catherine Crain possesses a strong background in communications, with experience spanning various roles at Siskin Children's Institute from March 2018 to the present, including Communications Manager, Content Engagement Specialist, Administrative Coordinator, and Receptionist. Prior to this, Catherine held the position of Communications Specialist at the Down Syndrome Association of Memphis & the Mid-South from August 2014 to November 2017, focusing on event planning, fundraising, and financial management. Catherine's career began at Target as a Barista from September 2012 to May 2014, where skills in customer service and pressure management were developed. Catherine holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communications with a focus on Organizational Communication from The University of Memphis, earned between 2012 and 2015.

Founded in 1950 by Mose and Garrison Siskin in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Siskin Children's Institute achieves its mission through, pediatric healthcare services, education, home & community-based programs, and outreach services Education Our Siskin Early Learning Center provides a high quality preschool education to young children with and without disabilities, including children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, chromosomal abnormality and brain injury. Health Care The Siskin Center for Developmental Pediatrics is a regional developmental pediatric center, led by a team of developmental pediatricians, with services available in Chattanooga and Nashville, TN. Children are referred to the Institute for medical, psychological and cognitive assessment, diagnosis and treatment, including, occupational, speech and language, applied behavior analysis, and other therapies as well as counseling and social skills groups. Home Visiting The Siskin Home & Community-Based Early Intervention program is designed to help parents, other caregivers and children with special needs gain the knowledge and confidence they need to be successful in life. Through visits with a developmental therapist, the family receives information, support, guidance and consultation about improving the child’s and family’s quality of life.
