Siskin Children's Institute
Kaitlyn Warman Thomas is a dedicated childcare professional with extensive experience spanning over several years. Currently self-employed as a private childcare provider since October 2021, Kaitlyn also serves as a teaching partner at Siskin Children's Institute since July 2019 and has operated as a childcare provider since May 2017. Previous roles include support for the Social Science Department at Southwestern Adventist University and note-taking for the university's Disability Services. Kaitlyn has also contributed as a nursery worker at Friendship Baptist Church and worked as a veterinary assistant at The Animal Doctor Veterinary Hospital. Kaitlyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology from Southern Adventist University, earned between 2017 and 2019.

Founded in 1950 by Mose and Garrison Siskin in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Siskin Children's Institute achieves its mission through, pediatric healthcare services, education, home & community-based programs, and outreach services Education Our Siskin Early Learning Center provides a high quality preschool education to young children with and without disabilities, including children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, chromosomal abnormality and brain injury. Health Care The Siskin Center for Developmental Pediatrics is a regional developmental pediatric center, led by a team of developmental pediatricians, with services available in Chattanooga and Nashville, TN. Children are referred to the Institute for medical, psychological and cognitive assessment, diagnosis and treatment, including, occupational, speech and language, applied behavior analysis, and other therapies as well as counseling and social skills groups. Home Visiting The Siskin Home & Community-Based Early Intervention program is designed to help parents, other caregivers and children with special needs gain the knowledge and confidence they need to be successful in life. Through visits with a developmental therapist, the family receives information, support, guidance and consultation about improving the child’s and family’s quality of life.
