Yukti Chopra is a Doctoral Student at SISSA, focusing on perceptual biases in short-term working memory, specifically investigating how external environments shape perception. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Science, where analysis of large-scale microscopic data was conducted to predict receptor localization related to homeostatic plasticity. Yukti has also interned at IBM and Silver Square, applying data mining techniques to enhance decision-making in the insurance sector. Additional internships at DRDO involved studying neurocognitive aspects through EEG signals, and a summer research project at the University of Delhi involved fabricating microheaters for satellite lubricants under an ISRO project. Yukti holds a PhD in Computational Cognitive Neuroscience from Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati di Trieste and a BTech in IT and Mathematical Innovation from the University of Delhi.
