Alex A.

Alex A. has a diverse work experience that spans multiple fields and organizations. Currently, they hold the position of President, Founder, and Senior Consultant at Shining Applicants, a role they started in August 2021. They are also a Doctoral Teaching and Advising Faculty member at Franklin University, where they have been working since August 2021. In 2020, Alex was a Visiting Professor at Hochschule Landshut and served as the President of the Fulbright Association. Prior to that, they were part of the SC Advisory Committee at the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition and Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the Global Upstate Conference at the World Affairs Council Upstate. They have also held roles as a Board Member at the World Affairs Council and as Vice President at Sister Cities International. Additionally, Alex has contributed as a Reviewer and Interviewer for the Y.E.A.R. Program and as a Reviewer for the Thomas Jefferson Scholarship Program.

Alex A. has a PhD in Higher Education Administration and International Education from Michigan State University. Additionally, they hold a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Cornerstone University, with a specialization in career counseling and crisis counseling.
