Julie Dowd

Julie Dowd currently serves as the Director of Mission Integration for the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, a position held since June 2021. Prior experience includes roles at the University of San Francisco, where Julie occupied several positions from May 2003 to September 2020, including Director of University Ministry and Associate Director of the Lane Center for Catholic Studies and Social Thought. Julie is a founding board member of the Ignatian Solidarity Network and has served as Director of Social Ministries at St. Ignatius Parish in San Francisco from August 1995 to May 2003. Additionally, Julie was a Jesuit Volunteer at the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in 1994-1995. Julie holds a D.Min. in Ignatian spirituality from Pacific School of Religion and has advanced degrees in Nonprofit Administration and Theology from the University of San Francisco, along with a Bachelor's degree in Religion from the College of the Holy Cross.
