Troy Pfeifer has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Troy started their career as a Sr. Area Technology Manager at Kinko's in 1993 and then became the Director of Sales Engineering at JATO Communications in 1999. From 2000 to 2001, they worked as a Principal Sales Engineer at SmartPoint. In 2001, they joined Motive, Inc as a Principal Sales Engineer and later became the Principal Sales Engineer for the Americas. In this role, they partnered with the sales team and sold complex software solutions with average deal sizes of over $2 million. In 2005, Troy was asked to relocate to Hong Kong to start up the Motive Asia Pacific sales presence. During their time there, they successfully penetrated markets in multiple countries and closed significant business deals. After a successful stint in Hong Kong, Troy took a sabbatical in 2007 before joining Qwest Communications in 2008 as a Product Manager for High-Speed Internet. In this role, they evaluated and implemented new solutions, resulting in substantial cost savings and a superior customer experience. Lastly, in 2011, Troy became the Head Trainer & Owner of Sit Means Sit Dog Training in Austin & San Antonio. The company offers various training programs with the goal of providing a happy and obedient dog to its customers.
