Marco Pici

Marco Pici has extensive work experience in various roles within the telecommunications and technology industries. Marco began their career as a Field Service Engineer at Nuovo Pignone in 1985, where they worked until 1987. Marco then joined Telecom Italia as a Telecommunication Systems Specialist until 1995. In 1995, they moved to SITA and held several positions, including Head of Solution Consulting from 1995 to 2006, Director of Professional Services & Solution Design for South Europe from 2006 to 2010, Business Development Director for South Europe from 2010 to 2011, Business Development Director for the MEIA Region from 2011 to 2015, Head of Sales for Kingdom of Saudi Arabia & Turkey from 2015 to 2018, and most recently, Head of Business Development for Airport Operations & Border Management in the EUROPE Region from 2018 to 2021. Currently, they serve as the Head of Sales for Northern Europe at SITA.

Marco Pici completed a Diploma in Management at Aston University from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they pursued Business Administration and Management studies at IMD from 2008 to 2009. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Capture Planning for Strategic Wins from Shipleywins in 2022, and Challenger Fundamentals in Commercial Teaching, Core Sales Skills, and Sales Coaching from Challenger in 2021.
