Pedro Alves

Pedro Alves has a strong background in business development, with experience in global companies. Pedro is currently serving as the Vice President of Global Business Development at SITA since January 2024. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President Global Business Development at IDEMIA from November 2019 to February 2024, and before that, they were the Vice-president of Corporate Development at IDEMIA from September 2018 to November 2019. Pedro also worked at Vision-Box as the Director Global Business Development and Sales from March 2016 to September 2018, and as a Business Development Manager from August 2014 to March 2016. Pedro started their career at CGI as a Business Development Manager, where they focused on developing business in airports worldwide from an aviation portfolio and cross-industry expertise. Pedro was with CGI from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, they worked as an IT Project Manager at Logica from 2007 to 2010.

Pedro Alves holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico. Pedro also completed an Executive Education program in negotiation and business administration at Universidade de Aveiro. Furthermore, Pedro Alves obtained an Engineer's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.
