Andrea Iacopini

Andrea Iacopini serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at SITAEL since June 2023, leading the formal implementation of an Information and Cybersecurity governance framework and managing significant projects, including the PNRR IRIDE initiative. At MERMEC as Group CISO, Andrea oversees cybersecurity measures for cloud transformation and ISO27001 certification processes. Previous roles include CISO positions at various organizations where risk management and cybersecurity strategy were pivotal. Andrea has an extensive background in developing cybersecurity solutions, leading SOC and CERT operations, and engaging in strategic decision-making for IPOs. Educational qualifications include degrees in Defense and Security Sciences and Modern Literature from prominent Italian universities.
