Marco Meini

Marco Meini is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in satellite systems engineering and project management. Currently serving as the IRIDE Technical Procurement Manager and Head of Satellite Systems Engineering & AIV at SITAEL since October 2020, Marco contributed to the PLATiNO mission, an Earth Observation program. His prior role as Co-Owner of Meini snc began in January 2000. At Leonardo, from July 2004 to October 2020, Marco held various positions, including Space System Engineer for multiple missions such as SHALOM, FLEX, and Exomars. Furthermore, Marco has managed the PRISMA and Surface Movement Radar (SMR) programs, showcasing a strong background in cross-functional team leadership and technical coordination. Marco's education includes a Master’s in General Management and an MSc in Telecommunication Engineering.
