Farhana Rahman

Farhana Rahman has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Farhana is currently working at Site Technologies as an Engineering Manager. In this role, they are responsible for reviewing commercial pavements, determining Pavement Condition Index (PCI), and developing repair budgets. Prior to their current position, they worked as a Pavement Engineer at the same company, where they developed scopes of work for pavement repairs and maintenance.

Before joining Site Technologies, Farhana worked as an Associate Faculty in Civil Engineering at Lake Washington Institute of Technology. During their time there, they taught courses in Mechanics of Materials, Dynamics, and Thermodynamics. Farhana also advised and developed material testing specifications for the engineering lab.

In addition, Farhana served as an Associate Faculty in Engineering at Edmonds Community College and as an Adjunct Faculty in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Seattle University. Farhana has also worked as a Research Consultant and a Graduate Research Assistant at Kansas State University.

Farhana'sexperience at Kansas State University included being a Superpave Training Instructor, where they trained students in advanced pavement design techniques. Farhana also conducted research as a Graduate Research Assistant.

Farhana Rahman completed their education with a Ph.D in Transportation Engineering from Kansas State University in 2010. Prior to that, they earned an M.S in Geotechnical Engineering from Concordia University in 2005 and a B.S in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 2002.
