Mohsen Talebsafa, Ph.D., P.E.

Mohsen Talebsafa, Ph.D., P.E. has worked in various positions within the civil engineering field. Mohsen currently serves as a Pavement Engineer at Site Technologies since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Metropolitan Infrastructure, PLLC from January 2021 to December 2021, holding the roles of Graduate Civil Engineer and Civil Engineering Intern.

From August 2017 to January 2021, Mohsen worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Arlington. In this capacity, they conducted laboratory and field tests on pavement materials, conducted research on full-scale accelerated testing of asphalt pavement structures, analyzed pavement condition data, formulated pavement performance models, and performed finite element modeling of pavement structures. Mohsen also assisted in the preparation of research reports and taught the Civil Engineering Material Laboratory course.

Additionally, Mohsen worked as an Instructor at the University College of Rouzbahan from September 2016 to January 2017.

Mohsen Talebsafa, Ph.D., P.E. received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Infrastructure System Engineering and Management from The University of Texas at Arlington in the years 2017-2021. Prior to that, they completed their Master's Degree in Road and Transportation Engineering from Semnan University from 2011 to 2013. Mohsen also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, obtained from the University of Mazandaran between 2006 and 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Mohsen Talebsafa has obtained various certifications. Mohsen is a Professional Engineer (P.E.) recognized by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, a qualification they achieved in October 2022. Mohsen has also completed certifications in various technical software and tools, including Civil 3D: Basic Roadway Design, Learning Microsoft Project, Learning Bluebeam 2019, Learning Bentley MicroStation V8i, and OpenRoads Designer: Civil Geometry Quickstart.
