Tailai Wen

Tailai Wen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Tailai started their career as a Quantitative Analyst Intern at Nokia Siemens Networks in 2008. Tailai then worked as a Research Intern at IBM in 2012 and as a Professional Intern at Chevron in 2013. In 2014, they joined QRI as a Team Lead, where they led a team in developing patented software products for oilfield simulation and optimization. Tailai worked at QRI until 2017 when they joined Arundo Analytics as a Data Scientist. At Arundo Analytics, they created data-driven solutions for industrial enterprise customers and was later promoted to Lead Data Scientist. In 2020, Tailai became the Head of Data Science, USA at Crayon, where they built and managed a team of data scientists and provided AI/ML services to enterprise customers. Tailai then moved on to Season Health in 2021, where they served as the Director of Data Science and was responsible for building and leading the data science team, as well as directing the development of data-driven microservices. Currently, Tailai holds the position of Director of AI and Automation at SITE Technologies since 2023.

Tailai Wen began their education at Tsinghua University from 2005 to 2009, where they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics. They then went on to pursue further studies at Stanford University from 2009 to 2014, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computational and Mathematical Engineering. In the midst of their doctoral studies, Tailai Wen also completed a Master of Science (M.S.) in Statistics from Stanford University, from 2012 to 2013.
