Faizal Essop

Faizal Essop is a highly experienced mechanical engineer with a robust background in project management and engineering roles across multiple prominent companies. Currently serving as a Mechanical Engineer at Sitech Services BV since March 2022, Faizal previously held the position of Lead Mechanical Engineer at Proconics, where responsibilities included executing projects to enhance factory longevity. At GE, Faizal was Deputy Project Engineering Manager, managing client engineering interfaces and leading teams at the Kusile Power Plant as Site Technical Office Manager. Earlier experience includes a senior role at Alstom Power, focused on major coal-fired power plant projects, and engineering positions at Sasol and Megchem, emphasizing design, specification, and safety studies.
