Simoné Loubser

Simoné Loubser is a Process Control Engineer at Sitech Services BV since June 2023, focusing on the innovations department to support the OCI Nitro Melamine plant and other projects by developing advanced process control systems and Power BI dashboards. Previously, Simoné completed a Control and Instrumentation Engineer-in-Training program at Sasol from July 2021 to June 2023, gaining experience in alarm management and SQL databases during the first year, and control loop monitoring in Honeywell systems during the second year. Simoné also interned at Sasol in 2019 and 2018, and worked as a Sales Assistant at Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics from December 2014 to January 2017. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Machine Learning from Stellenbosch University (expected December 2024) and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering completed in December 2020. Simoné holds a high school diploma from Edgemead High School, awarded in 2016.
