Andrew Betson

Andrew Betson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technical operations and financial management, currently serving as the Director of FinOps at Sitecore since July 2023, where responsibilities include multi-cloud cost and contract management and building FinOps practices. Andrew is also a Foundation Member of the FinOps Foundation since February 2020. Prior roles include Manager of Cloud Engineering at Globalization Partners, where a greenfield SaaS platform was developed on AWS, and Director of Production Operations & IT at Swrve, overseeing cross-team cost optimization and GDPR compliance. Andrew's career began as an IT Manager at Welocalize and includes significant achievements at MUZU.TV and TSSG, showcasing a strong background in cloud infrastructure, operations management, and compliance across various technology sectors. Andrew holds a BSc in Applied Computing from the Waterford Institute of Technology.
