Bertil Majer

Bertil is an accomplished lawyer with more than 25 years of experience and specialty in large enterprise software and cloud sectors. He brings his in-depth knowledge, a cooperative management style, and the motivation for excellence to lead our legal team. He’ll use his quick wit, flexibility, and confidence to help us scale globally, convey counsel on acquisition strategy and product innovation, and to support the ongoing success of our customer relationships. Prior to joining Sitecore, Bertil was a trusted advisor and strategic senior leader with SAP worldwide, most recently as the EMEA and Greater China Regional General Counsel. There, he helped develop fast-growth regions into multibillion-euro organizations, always focused on supporting customers and their digital transformation journey. In his most recent role, he was also involved in the creation of new business models, the development of Cloud offerings, along with strategically leading and orchestrating the simplification of legal documentation within customer contracts. Bertil possesses a Law Degree from Ruprecht-Karls University, Heidelberg, Germany and an Executive MBA from ESSEC, Paris, France.
