Klaus Engsig

Klaus Engsig has a long and varied work history. Klaus began their career in 1983 as an Executive Assistant for N.A.F. International. In 1985, they became the CEO of Active Shipping. From 2002 to 2006, they held various roles at IKEA, including International Logistics/Project Manager and Country Logistics Manager. In 2006, they became the Head of International Supply Chain at NCC. From 2009 to 2012, they were the Head of Procurement & Logistics at MT Højgaard. From 2012 to 2016, they were the Procurement Manager at Den Blå Planet. From 2016 to 2018, they were the General Manager at Danish Art Transport. In 2021, they became the Partner & Co-Founder, Head of Logistics at SiteHub.

Klaus Engsig attended Copenhagen Business Academy from 1977 to 1979, studying International Trade. Klaus then attended IKEA Netherlands from 2003 to 2004 to study Logistics Management, and IKEA in 2003 to study Diversity Management. In 2006, they attended NCC Construction to study LEAN in the Construction Industry, and again in 2007 to study Partnering & Conflict Management and International Sourcing. In 2008, they attended NCC Construction to study Project Management, and in 2009-2010 they attended MT Højgaard to study Stakeholder Management + Leadership & Management. Finally, in 2012 they attended ZIBAT (Zealand Institute of Business and Technology) to study LEAN Management.
