Beat Lechmann serves as the Director of R&D Innovation in Trauma at Johnson & Johnson MedTech since August 2016, focusing on collaborations to address unmet clinical needs. Beat’s previous roles include Director of R&D for DePuy Mitek and Director of Product Development at Synthes, emphasizing innovation and collaboration in musculoskeletal solutions. Beat’s extensive experience in spine development and project management began at Mathys Medical Ltd. with roles spanning from Head of Spine Development to Business Unit Manager. Educational credentials include advanced studies in management from EPFL and ZfU, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Micro Mechanics from NTB Interstaatliche Hochschule.

Education • The sitem-insel School and state-of-the-art Clinical Anatomy Training and Research (CATR) unit support future experts in the field of translational and entrepreneurial medicine as well as surgeons in the field of clinical anatomy with training and further education programs.
