Mathias T. Eng is the Founder and CEO of QUAREGIA GmbH and PROREGIA AG, providing consulting services and cybersecurity solutions for medical devices and connected systems, respectively. As an Expert in Quality Management and Regulatory Affairs at Effectum Medical AG, Mathias engages in consulting while also delivering lectures on Risk Management, Digitalization, Cybersecurity, and Quality and Regulatory aspects at various institutions, including Universität Bern and Bern University of Applied Sciences. Previous roles include Key Account Manager and Senior Consultant at confinis, Project Manager at CSA Engineering AG, and an extensive background in software engineering and IT services. Mathias holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.

sitem-insel is the Swiss Institute for Translational and Entrepreneurial Medicine. It is located on the Insel Campus Bern and benefits from its proximity to Switzerland's largest university hospital (Inselspital) as well as the University of Bern. Our mission is to establish, operate and develop a National Center of Excellence for Translational Medicine that professionalizes translation research for the benefit of patients, society, and science.
