Millie Yegon

Millie Yegon has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Millie currently works at Sitemate as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. Prior to this, they worked at M-KOPA Solar as a Quality Assurance Engineer, where they were responsible for firmware and hardware integration testing, regression testing, and validation testing of products. Millie also analyzed manufacturing test data to identify process and test improvements. Millie also has experience as an Electrical Engineer at Umeme Services Limited and as an Electrical Engineering Intern at KenGen Kenya and East African Portland Cement Company. In addition, they have interned as a Service Activation Intern at Safaricom Limited, where they were involved in Wimax internet and Multi-Protocol Label Switching provisioning.

Millie Yegon has a diverse education history. In 2021, they obtained a Professional Certificate in Agile Project Management from the University of Maryland. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2018, Millie pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Telecommunication Engineering at Multimedia University of Kenya. Before their university studies, they attended Moi Tea Girls High School from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).

In addition to their degrees, Millie has also obtained several certifications. In August 2021, they became Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile. In June 2021, they achieved the Solar PV Certification T3 from EPRA. Furthermore, in April 2021, Millie received the title of Graduate Engineer from the Engineers Board of Kenya.
