Dax Mcdavid

Dax McDavid has extensive experience in the field of geology and exploration. Dax started their career in 2001 as a Geological Technician at American Shoreline. Dax then worked as a Research Assistant at the Bureau of Economic Geology from 2002 to 2003. Dax joined Stalker Energy L.P. in 2003 and held the position of Geologist for almost a decade. In 2013, they moved to Brigham Resources/Minerals as a Geologist, where they worked until 2017. At Brigham Minerals, Inc., they took on various roles including Exploration Manager, Vice President of Exploration, and Senior Vice President of Exploration. From 2022 to 2023, Dax worked as an EVP of Corporate Development at Sitio Royalties.

Dax McDavid obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from The University of Texas at Austin in the period from 1998 to 2002. Later, they pursued a Masters degree at the University of Texas, Jackson School of Geosciences, specializing in Petroleum Geology from 2004 to 2006.
