Michael Kohan

Michael Kohan is currently serving as the Science and Policy Director at Sitka Salmon Shares. Prior to this role, Michael held positions as Seafood Technical Director at the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute, Wildlife Biologist at the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, Contract Researcher at NOAA, and Peace Corps Volunteer. Michael holds a Master of Science in Fishing and Fisheries Sciences and Management from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Washington.
