James Madden

James Madden is an experienced research leader and principal scientist at Sitryx since July 2020, previously serving as a project leader at Evotec from January 1999 to July 2020, specializing in medicinal chemistry. James has a strong background in leading small teams of chemists on projects related to immunology, CNS, oncology, inflammation and pain, and COPD, focusing on hit-to-lead and lead optimization processes. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Organic Chemistry from UCL (1995-1998) and a BSc in Chemistry from Imperial College London (1991-1995).
