Kayla Watterson

Kayla Watterson is an experienced caregiver and educator with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University Indianapolis. Since January 2017, Kayla has worked as a caregiver at Sitting Made Simple, building meaningful relationships with families and providing care for children in the Indianapolis Area. Kayla has also served as a student teacher at IUPUI, assisting the main teacher and gradually taking on lesson planning and instructional responsibilities. Previous roles include Summer Camp Counselor at IUPUI, where Kayla planned activities and fostered teamwork among children, and Classroom Assistant at the Center for Young Children, creating a safe and engaging environment for young learners. Additionally, Kayla has experience as a Camp Leader with Oxford Parks and Rec, developing lesson plans and activities for summer camps.
