Dan Selmert

Dan Selmert has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Dan started their career as an officer in the German Air Force, where they gained expertise in planning, organization, communication, and leadership. Following their military service, Dan joined SIV.AG as a consultant, specializing in management and process consulting, software optimization, and sales support. Dan later assumed the role of Head of Project Management Office, where they played a key role in establishing project management methods and processes, contributing to the strategic realignment of the company's energy and water business division. Currently, Dan serves as the Vice President - Professional Services, overseeing various responsibilities in the field of professional services.

Dan Selmert received their education from various institutions. From 2004 to 2005, they attended the Offizierschule der Luftwaffe, where they obtained an Offizierspatent. Dan then studied at the Helmut-Schmidt-Universität/Universität der Bundeswehr Hamburg from 2005 to 2009, earning a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Maschinenbau. In 2009, they underwent militärfachliche Ausbildung at the German Air Defence Center in Texas, USA. In 2018, they completed a Professional SCRUM Master I program at trainM GmbH. In 2019, they obtained a Basiszertifikat im Projektmanagement (GPM) - ICB Version 4.0 from GPM - Deutsche Gesellschaft für Projektmanagement e.V.
