Muhammad Jassat

Muhammad Jassat is a Senior Climate and ESG Specialist at Six Capitals ESG Advisory since June 2023, bringing extensive experience in climate change and ESG from previous roles at Exxaro Resources, where responsibilities included decarbonization and project management. Muhammad also completed a Climate Change Internship at the City of Johannesburg, contributing to greenhouse gas inventory development and the City's Climate Action Plan. As a Teaching Assistant at the University of the Witwatersrand, Muhammad supported academic initiatives while pursuing a Master's in Resilience Planning. Educational achievements include a degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and e-learning courses on human health and climate change from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research.
