Nathan Rowbottom is an accomplished educator with a diverse background in science and technology. Currently serving as a Computer Studies Teacher at Six Nations Polytechnic since September 2019, Nathan focuses on empowering the Hodinohso:ni community by integrating culture, language, and technology to revitalize indigenous languages. Simultaneously, Nathan has been teaching Physics and Computer Science at Halton District School Board since November 2005, with a recent emphasis on Computer Science. Nathan is also the founder of LearnCayuga.org, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting endangered indigenous languages through cloud services and machine learning. Previous experiences include teaching Oji-Cree native speakers and roles in marketing coordination. Educational achievements include pursuing a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Arts in Ogwehoweh Languages (Cayuga) at Six Nations Polytechnic, along with multiple degrees in education and physics.
