Marisa Maughan

Marisa Maughan is a seasoned instructional designer with significant experience in academic and public programming. Currently serving as the Lead Instructional Designer at Six Red Marbles since March 2022, Marisa previously held roles as an Adjunct Professor at Salt Lake Community College, where responsibilities included creating engaging learning assessments and fostering a positive learning environment. In the role of Curriculum Developer, Marisa designed an online General Education course for over 300 students annually, collaborating with eLearning teams to meet Quality Matters standards. Earlier, as the Assistant Public Programs Coordinator at the Natural History Museum of Utah, Marisa developed innovative programs to enhance public interest in natural history. Marisa holds a Master of Science in Physical and Biological Anthropology from The University of Sheffield and a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Sciences from Utah Valley University.
