Brett Sherwood has a diverse work experience in the fields of software engineering, marketing, product specialization, craftsmanship, and research. Brett began their career as a Research Assistant at Brigham Young University in 2017 before interning at TechLaw Ventures, PLLC. In 2017, they also worked as a Student Researcher and Intern at The Latvian Institute of International Affairs, where they participated in conferences and conducted research on various topics. Brett then took on the role of Craftsman and Head Shipper at All Barnwood Inc. from 2015 to 2018, managing customer orders and shipping. Brett also worked as a Marketing and Product Specialist at All Barwood Inc., where they designed an e-commerce website and marketed new products.

Brett's software engineering experience includes working as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer at SoftServe from 2018 to 2021, ensuring the quality of software products. Brett then attended Lambda School from 2019 to 2021, training as a Full Stack Software Engineer. During this time, they worked on various projects using technologies such as React, Redux, Nodejs, Express, and more.

Most recently, Brett joined Deseret Digital Media as a Software Engineer in 2021. Brett is currently employed at SixFifty as a Software Engineer, starting in 2023.

Brett Sherwood completed their Full Stack Web Development degree from BloomTech in the time period of 2019 to 2021. Brett studied Web Development and Computer Science during this program. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2017, Brett attended Brigham Young University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Brett also pursued minors in International Strategy and Diplomacy, as well as Russian. In addition to their formal education, Brett Sherwood received a certification in Full-Stack Web Development and Technical Interviewing from Lambda School in January 2021.
