Raquel Van Nice

Raquel Van Nice has a strong background in graphic design and art direction. Raquel is currently working as an Art Director at Sixteenfifty Creative Intelligence since June 2021. Prior to that, they were a Senior Visual Strategist at (W)right On Communications, Inc. from December 2020 to May 2021.

Before that, Raquel worked at B&P Advertising Media Public Relations as an Art Director from March 2018 to February 2020, where they created visually engaging direct mail pieces and branding identities for high-end casino clients. Raquel also worked as a Graphic Designer at B&P Advertising from March 2016 to March 2018.

Raquel's earlier experience includes working at VIRGEN Inc. as a Sr. Graphic Designer from November 2015 to March 2016, where they created identity and branding assets for clients and supervised junior and mid-level creatives. Raquel started their career at SK+G Advertising as a Junior Art Director from November 2012 to May 2015, where they developed and pitched ad campaigns and managed photo and video shoots.

Raquel Van Nice obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where they double majored in Art Practice and Mass Communications. Raquel attended the university from 2002 to 2006. Later, they pursued a Master of Fine Arts degree in Advertising- Art Direction from the Academy of Art University, which they completed from 2009 to 2012.
