Brian Monaghan

Brian Monaghan is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in accounting. Currently serving as Principal at Sixth Street since May 2013, Brian has also held various key roles within the company, including Vice President, Senior Accounting Manager, and Accounting Manager. Prior to Sixth Street, Brian worked at TPG Capital from January 2009 to May 2013 as both Accounting Manager and Fund Accountant. Brian’s career began at Goldman Sachs as a Senior Accountant from February 2007 to January 2009, followed by a position as Tax Accountant at Whitley Penn from August 2005 to February 2007. Brian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas Tech University and a Master of Science in Accounting from The University of Texas at Dallas.
