Matthew Papas

Matthew Papas is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in data and technology leadership. Currently serving as Chief Data Officer and Managing Director at Sixth Street since September 2021, Matthew previously held prominent positions at Facebook as Director of Engineering and Head of Recruiting Products from October 2019 to September 2021. Matthew's tenure at Goldman Sachs spanned over five years, where responsibilities included Global Head of Digital Experience and Head of Equities Technology for the Americas. Earlier roles included Vice President, focusing on Algorithmic Trading Core Strats, and Partner, Chief Technology Officer at The Prytania Group. Matthew began a career in technology as a Developer at Broadway Interactive Group after attending Queens College from 1996 to 1999.
