Mike Rangel

Mike Rangel is a Principal at Sixth Street Partners since May 2016, bringing extensive experience in corporate strategy, new capability development, and advanced analytics from previous roles, including Manager at Deloitte and Director at Highland Capital Management. At Deloitte, Mike Rangel led the redesign of derivatives processing strategies to comply with regulatory requirements and managed the development of a new fund administrator business. At Highland Capital Management, Mike Rangel transformed trading processes and established compliance and disaster recovery schemes, contributing to significant operational efficiencies. Mike Rangel also has a background in investment banking and technology development from positions at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, HBK Capital Management, and Fidelity Investments. Academically, Mike Rangel holds an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a Master's in Finance from The University of Texas at Dallas, alongside a Bachelor's in Computer Science from Texas Christian University.
