Jon Hatton is a skilled professional with extensive experience in environmental engineering and radioactive substances regulation. Currently serving as the Radiological Environment Lead at Sizewell C since May 2021, Jon Hatton is responsible for leading the Radioactive Substances Regulation workstream and ensuring permit compliance for the Sizewell C project in collaboration with the Environment Agency and other stakeholders. Prior roles include Assistant Environmental Engineer and Graduate Environmental Engineer at Atkins, as well as providing environmental permitting support for EDF (UK) regarding RSR and EURATOM regulations. Jon Hatton's early career includes a summer student position at Atkins and a naval engineer industrial placement at BMT Defence Services Ltd. Jon Hatton holds a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cardiff University, obtained in 2018.
