Ingunn Agnes Kro, born March 27, 1982, lives in Reykjavík. Ingunn was first elected to the board of Sjóvár on March 12, 2020. She has a BA and MA in law and an MBA degree from the University of Iceland, with the right to plead before the district court and is a licensed stockbroker. Ingunn worked at Skeljung hf. in the years 2009-2019, most recently as manager of the office and communication department, where she was responsible for communication, social responsibility, legal, marketing and human resources issues, but previously as senior lawyer, compliance officer, secretary to the board and sat on the executive board. She was also the manager of Íslenska vetnisfélagin ehf. (subsidiary of Skeljung hf.) in the years 2018-2019. In the years 2008-2010, Ingunn was a part-time teacher and later an assistant professor at the Law Faculty of the University of Iceland, where she taught tort law. Ingunn is a board member of HS Orku hf. and sits on the company's remuneration committee. She is also a board member at Iceland Seafood International hf. and chairman of the company's audit committee. Ingunn also sits on the board of Freyja, an investment fund. Ingunn also sits on the board of the Wetland Fund, which is a non-profit organization that works towards the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Ingunn is independent of the company, the day-to-day managers and the company's major shareholders.
