Melissa Faulner

Melissa Faulner is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in development and client services, currently leading projects at Group SJR since February 2024. Previously, Melissa spent nearly a decade at Penguin Random House, progressing from Assistant Editor to Publishing Manager, overseeing editorial processes for multiple titles annually and fostering team collaboration. Additional roles include serving as a Poll Worker during major elections in New York City and holding various editorial positions at respected publishing companies, such as Abrams and Penguin Group USA. An alumnus of Sarah Lawrence College with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts and Literature, Melissa has furthered professional development through certifications in project management and culinary arts and completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training program.
