Sangbum Lee

Sangbum Lee has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry, with a focus on technology and product development. Sangbum started their career at Iridium Korea as a Software Specialist and DBA, supporting the company's low orbital satellite-based mobile telephone business. Afterwards, they joined Iridium LLC as a Technical Consultant, contributing to the establishment of offshore operations in Malaysia.

Lee then joined SK Telecom as an ITRC Manager, where they led IT architecture projects and participated in the development of the 3GRC system. Sangbum also served as a Biz dev. Manager, leading partnerships with major communication device and software companies. Later, they became a Platform R&D Sr. Manager, overseeing the development of the MelOn back-end platform and web platform.

In 2006, Lee joined Helio, a joint venture between SK Telecom and Earthlink, as the BSS/OSS Director. In this role, they managed a technical team and led the development of customer care, billing systems, and the company's web store front.

Returning to SK Telecom, Lee worked as an R&D Sr. Manager, focusing on personalization technology and data processing. Sangbum later joined SK planet, where they held various roles including VP of New Media Platform Development, VP of hoppin service Tech & Development, and Group leader of Open Shopping Tech & Dev. As VP of Media Technology Development, they led the development efforts for media technologies.

Lee then transitioned to SK techx as the Vice President of New Business Development, responsible for exploring technical opportunities in the mobile and platform space. Sangbum eventually returned to SK Broadband, joining as the VP of Mobile Development before taking on roles such as VP of Media Technology Center and VP of Products / CTO. Sangbum'sresponsibilities at SK Broadband included overseeing IPTV/VOD technology, mobile media tech, and leading media tech R&D.

Currently, Sangbum Lee holds the position of VP of Technology at SK Broadband, where they continue to contribute their expertise in technology and product development.

Sangbum Lee completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Avionics from Korea Aerospace University between 1987 and 1993. Sangbum then pursued a Master of Business degree in Business and Administration from Hanyang University, which they completed between 2004 and 2005. Additionally, Sangbum Lee holds a certification in SCJP, but the specific institution and date of obtaining this certification are not provided.
